The space of the apartment is designed according to the classical canons - along the axes, taking into account the movement towards the light, with a clear division of the premises according to their functions.
The kitchen (in accordance with the wishes of the customers, which also coincides with my professional views) is, by its main purpose, a utilitarian room - especially the one where people often cook aromatic. But at the same time, I did not want to completely isolate her - modern life presupposes ease of communication, mobility.
Kitchen separated from the hallway on one side, and from the dining room on the other, sliding doors with glass panels, through which natural light enters the kitchen and further into the corridor (in the center of the apartment). To enhance the effect, this light is also reflected in a large mirror panel located along the axis of the kitchen openings and the dining room window.
The kitchen here is a walk-through room, thanks to which it was possible to organize a roundabout in the public area of the apartment and provide access to the kitchen (with food) or from the kitchen (with garbage) not through the front rooms, but through the hallway.
The kitchen is designed as a suit, completely according to the "standards" of the owners - as comfortable as possible in terms of ergonomics, and not forgetting about aesthetics. It is pleasant to cook here without feeling too isolated thanks to transparent doors, it is pleasant to chat over a glass of wine or start your day with a cup of coffee and a light breakfast.
The end of the island was given to an honorary member of the family - a dog of Ridgeback suit - an area for his feeding was planned (if desired, the shelf with built-in bowls can be replaced with a regular shelf), and a box for storing delicacies is located above the shelf. The island also provides boxes and baskets for storing fruits and vegetables.

At the design stage, we thought over the storage of every little thing, measuring every important item and finding the most convenient place for it. We thought about the movements of the hostess in the kitchen in different life scenarios - when preparing breakfast, when receiving guests, when processing and sorting products. A separate area for preparing breakfast has been thought out - it is there that all the products and utensils for serving it, a coffee machine are located, there is also a separate small tabletop for the convenience of morning preparations.
From the point of view of the color palette - the kitchen is color-coded to the hallway area - made in the same darker shade and thus further separated from the front rooms. The facades of the kitchen are executed in enamel in the color of the walls, thereby dissolving in the space, and the elements of oak veneer add warmth and contrast to this monochrome range.
At the time of check-in, the apartment was completely ready for life - table china for all occasions, table textiles, cutlery, were carefully selected and ordered, aromatic herbs - thyme and rosemary - were planted in the pots. From the first days life began to boil here.
